What engineering job is associated with forensic archaeology ?
If there is an earthquake and a lot of people are trapped in the rubble for a long time before they die, a civil engineer or a structural engineer would have the skills and knowledge to work-out how long the people were able to breathe clean air, and if fires caused buildings to fall. Fire and electrical engineers would be able to tell how quickly and in what direction a fire spread. This would be important information for the people who have to design safer buildings. It would also be important for the coroner whose job is to decide on the time and cause of death. Since you are asking about forensic archaeology, apply what I already said, to cases where lots of human bones have been found, after lying dead in the rubble of cities, for hundreds or even thousands of years. I imagine that when the archaeologists first started exploring ancient buildings and ruins in Egypt, they would have needed the advice of engineers to fully understand how the buildings were built,
