Period problems..help meee?

help me pleaseee. I have an activity week at school, and it has to do with water. And im on my period on Tuesday, and i have kayaking in my school swimming pool, and i get concious i am not going to put a tampon on! they arn't nice for me! and i dont want to miss out please help me! ?
