I want a Bachelors of Science degree so do I have to major in science too?

You need BS degree in Science in order to complete in Med school...Yep you need chemistry, biology, biochemistry as such...not Ancient History or Classic Archeology Major. You can have Minor in classic Archeology or Ancient History in which they are okay for Med school. Major has the main classes that you need a degree from. Minor has extra classes that you need in case you want to change your career in the future.
